The Rendena Valley

Val Rendena - with its untamed, mysterious landscapes surrounded by woods, rocks, glaciers, rivers and meadows - welcomes you.

Located in the western part of Trentino and in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, the valley is positioned between two breathtakingly beautiful mountain ranges. The Brenta Dolomites massif stands to the east of the valley, which is framed by a succession of peaks, spires and crests typical of the landscape of the area. The massive granite forms of the Adamello and the Presanella can be glimpsed to the west while their luxuriant surface springs - fed by glaciers - create striking waterfalls and are the source of an array of Alpine lakes.
The lavishness of the landscape and the richness of the history and tradition of the area all come together to provide a genuine, unfeigned welcome.
This is a no-frills approach to the mountains, typical of the coarse practicality of Trentino and its silent, yet fascinating woods.
